What I am looking to accomplish/learn from this class is a better understanding of media creation/editing programs, such as Adobe Photoshop. I am hoping to use the skills and techniques that I learn from this class in order to bring a somewhat unique aspect to my future career. I am hoping that what I learn from this class will enhance my visual presentation abilities as a Liberal Studies: HIS/COM major. Also, I believe that the skills learned from this class are good skills to have in today's world. Finally, I hope that I will be able to effectively use the abilities should the necessity, or opportunity, arise.
I have a great interest in the many different forms of media that are around today. I also have a decent interest in history and how it is communicated through the many different types of museums. Also, as a Liberal Studies: HIS/COM major I would like to have a career working in a museum, and using the many different forms of media to better communicate the historical facts within the museum. I have also always been very interested in music. I'm actually taking music as my area 2 here at Alvernia University. Finally, I would probably say that my biggest interest/hobby is video games, which, with the exception of breaks when I play constantly, I only get to play in my spare time.
